Modern Gui Problem with Scummvm v1.0.0

Post by Will Phoenix »

Hello
Thanks for the latest release v1.0.0.
I haven't tried Discworld 2 yet, but if it works, that's so great! Arigatou Gozaimasu. v(^^)v
I have only one problem :
I don't have access to the modern gui anymore?
I have an old zip file called "scummodern" in the main folder, but it's not recognized by the software.
Everything is working great, but I really would like to use this modern theme please.
How can I do?

I don't even remember where did I get this "scummodern" zip file since it's not in the scummvm main zip file. I don't understand.
Pleeeeaaaase m(_ _)m

There is only 1.0.0rc1 for now

Also, it would be nice if you tell us which package/platform you use

The different themes are they compatible with Scummvm mac ? I don't know why nothing appaers in sub menu theme, i've make a new folder theme and wrote it in submenu "path" at "theme path". I've try with the compressed gui theme and also the decompressed and i don't change the names.

I use the latest svn of scummVM Intel mac.

Thanks.

If you mean the themes that are available on the wiki, they are for older versions of ScummVM and they do not work for version 1.0.0. The only theme that I know that has been updated for version 1.0.0 is the Ambient Theme that you can find on deviantArt.

Another user who likes the Modern Ice theme :D

Because I like it as well and it apparently wasn't updated by the original author (Nivek) I started working on it. You can get the file with this link.

I slightly modified the layout and it is using the new ScummVM logo with an upper case S. I tested it in 320x200, 320x240, 640x400, 640x480, 960x600 and 960x720 (i.e. x1, x2 and x3 with and without aspect ratio correction).

This is still unfinished work, but I don't have much time to work on it right now. If somebody wants to tweak or polish this theme, feel free to do it and post the result. I am not completely happy with all the colors that are used in this version.
