I was feeling nostalgic so I joined the forums (having lurked for several years) just to join in the 1.0 fun. I decided to run through the first adventure I ever played, back in my parent's basement in sixth grade.

Maniac Mansion (Extracted/NES/USA)
Windows XP SP3, 32-Bit

Played through the game without encountering anything out of the ordinary. There wasn't a bug in sight. I used Wendy to give the meteor the publishing contract.

By that I was talking about Kyrandia 1 floppy version under Win32 XP SP3, not Malcolm's Revenge. Sorry. But that was also working fine the last time I played it (German CD version).

Just so you know, been testing Goblins 3 (cd/dos/english) and I found a game breaking bug which renders it incompletable, as well as one really strange graphical bug. Trying to see if I can reproduce it, I'll post it later.

I finished Goblins 3, GB floppy version, using ScummVM 1.0.0pre044373. I did find some bugs which I didn't remember from last time I played the game: this one, this one, and this one.

That's really a minor issue. It doesn't really matter.

Maniac Mansion

game completed, save/load no problems

Maniac Mansion (extracted/NES/English (US))

nothing to complain about

Archlinux x86_64
ScummVM 1.0.0rc1 (Aug 29 2009 21:28:56)

Meteor / Weird Edsel | Meteor / the Plant
ImageImage

--------------------------------------------------------

ive started the playthrough of maniac mansion 64, but
there are some gfx issues like the broken rocker 86 poster.

ImageImageImage

also the "movement¹" / "item handling²" seems to be weird.
hard to explain (at least for me) better take a look yourself:
--> Clip <--
pls keep in mind, that im clickin all the time (c64) and Jeff doesnt move. (oh me nerves!!!!)

¹ movement: the actors just slide through the scenes. no footstep animation.
² item handling: f.e. i can pickup items a mile away without moving there (dime).

i know that MMC64 is not completable (source) but im wondering why,
only a few bugs are mentioned at the tracker

I completed Maniac Mansion NES with the Meteor Police path on ScummVM 1.0.0pre44425 for Dreamcast. I didn't notice any problems, other than the camera halting.

I'm going to restart Waxworks now, but it will probably take a while since I'm not good at the game and I have never completed it before. I'm sure I'll have it completed before the planned tagging on October 12th though, as long as I don't find any more problems.

Besides the wiki page, there's also several patches on the tracker that fix MM C64 problems and adding sound support.

I've assumed US/English on the wiki page. Post if you didn't use that version.
