Playing Broken Sword 1&2 Sold Out PC Version on a Mac

Hi there,

I'm abit of a noob but i love scumm and worked through the monkey island with ease and am now having a crack at broken sword. I recently bought the duel set from sold out. It's for PC and I'm trying to run them on my mac. I had no problem with running the solo Broken sword 2 PC version on my mac but I cant seem to do it with the sold out version. I cant install it on my mac first because it's pc software and I've tried what it says in the FAQ but It's way to technical for a noob like me and I couldn't find any cluster theres hardly any files on the DVD.

Any idiot proof help would be much much much much appreciated

Install the games on a pc and copy the files from the installfolder to your mac. Alternatively, install Wine(or similar) on your mac and install the game there to get to the game data files. Or find an unpacker utility that can extract the data from the *.cab files on your game disc.

if they're standard windows .cab files, betterzip can unpack them.
