Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise (DOS/English)

ScummVM 1.1.0svn45101
AmigaOS4

Only one glitch found, which was the base of a discussion from loong ago (on IRC) iirc.
Fatty (and some NPC's) doesn't stop moving their lips although the spoken line has already ended. That is not in any way a show stopper, but gets very annoying during play. Most noteable in the kitchen when Fatty says something like: "Now i have everything" ... at least two seconds of moving lips but no talk, until he finally goes on ... "to make Kayla's birthday cake"

Easily to check by simply starting the game and when Fatty has stopped moving around and gives control to the player, simply click on him to see a "light" version (due to the spoken lines being so short) of this behaviour

Bug report is here

Isn't that the development version, rather than the 1.0 branch, of ScummVM?

Uhm, yes...sorry, i haven't got the time fiddling around with two versions of ScummVM. I thought every bug squash is backported, so i thought (hopefully) i'd be safe with using the dev version ... (?)

They'd rather not have it. I got yelled at (this thread, page 11) for using the trunk instead of the RC for testing.

Anyway, I did notice at least one bug with the trunk at some point that was not in the RC (couldn't save in MI3), so I guess it really matters.

Raziel, bobdevis, the problem with the 1.1 from the trunk is that A LOT of modifications have already been done in the code, in several engines. Those modification are sometimes stable, sometimes not, and improve in a way or another the impacted engines and only bugfixes have been backported. If you test a game with this version, it may be that it works well in this version but not in 1.0. As the purpose of this massive test campaign is to check as many games as possible for a strong 1.0 release, testing with the 1.1 trunk is not in the scope...

Anyway, thanks for helping... And please keep testing with the 1.0 version (you can use the 1.0 branch in the trunk if you want to compile it yourself)

Retested Nippon Safes Inc. (Multi-lingual/DOS) - English
No sign of previous bugs 2879790, 2879795, 2879799 & 2879805
ScummVM 1.0.0pre045149 (win32)
Windows 7 (x64)

When in the monastery, after picking up leaves, you should be taken to meet the Elder. He is not there. You can only go back to the previous screen to relive previous conversation. This makes the game not completable. 2880939

When parcel arrives at Doug's house when you try to examine it game crashes 2880942.

Also found labels displaying incorrectly 2880944.

Just checkout out the latest pre (45242) and issue #2881667 is no longer an issue (closed the ticket as well), so KYRA1 completed with no regressions.
