Nokia E52 - can't move crosshair

I downloaded ScummVM 1.0.0rc1 for Symbian S60v3 to my Nokia E52. When I launch it, a game chooser screen appears, but I can't find a way to move a crosshair stuck in the top-left corner. Green phone key does something, but nothing else seems to be possible for me.

Press the green softkey, and then press 9 while you see CRTL on the display, then you will see the red J which means you will be in joystick mode, and then press green softkey to turn of CTRL mod off. It should work now.

Thanks for advice. I think this should be enabled by default for non-touchscreen devices, since otherwise SCUMMVM's behavior is very confusing - at least for me.

And BTW, I was not notified about reply to my question even though I have indicated this by checking appropriate checkbox in the message editor
