Background images from Last Crusade (Amiga/EGA)

Post by adalsgaard »

Scumm Revisited (version 2.0.12.46) doesn't support displaying and exporting background images from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Amiga/EGA version of the game).

Does anyone know of an alternative application for this task?

I have written a tool called LucasRipper a long time ago.
As far as I can remember, it could rip images from LucasArts EGA games correctly, so you might give it a try.

Here is the link:

Yeah, I remember now that my tool can rip Indy3 EGA, as I did a comparision of all the different versions of the background graphics for different countries/versions/releases/platforms.

In Germany, the EGA and VGA versions of Indy3 were censored, but the EGA version was done much better than the VGA version (redesigned crosses instead of ugly black boxes).

Interestingly enough, I remember that not only the typical Swastika censorship was applied, but that also several paintings on the wall and details in some rooms were changed between different Indy 3 versions.
