Unable to browse/search for installed game(s)

I just installed ScummVM and dug up an old copy of Discworld I had in the closet. I copied the appropriate files over (after "installing" on my PC) to a directory called "dw" in /var/mobile. However, I seem to be unable to get ScummVM 1.0.0 to allow me to search for it. The window comes up with the search field and the various buttons at the bottom, but I can't type anything. Sometimes it appears in landscape mode and sometimes in portrait mode with a keyboard below. When it appears in portrait mode, I can touch keys (and the iphone responds with the "large" letter popping up, but the letters I type don't appear anywhere in ScummVM, nor are any ScummVM buttons responsive. Any ideas?

P.S. I set the file permissions to read/write/execute for user/group/world on all files inside the "dw" directory.

Never mind. I didn't realize that you had to drag your finger across the screen like a mouse at pre-game menu. I thought you wouldn't have to do that until inside the game.
