You get several things wrong, tobis87. First off, if we stretch the games vertically, that won't make them look much different to what you would see if you screen or video driver stretched them. In particular, they wouldn't look better, nor less stretched.
Secondly, the FM-TOWNS games use the same 320x200 graphics (squishy) but have 40 extra pixel lines at the bottom *added*. So, they also would need to be aspect ratio corrected to look correct.
Finally, all AMD and NVIDIA drivers, on Windows XP, Vista and 7, allow you to choose in their settings that you want the aspect ratio correction to be preserved; this will cause black borders to be added, but otherwise, should already now give you the best graphical result, without any requests for ScummVM updates. You can combine it with our 3x scalers now.
