I did exactly that,
BUT it still won't find any game in the specified directory
Could it be that the created file is named "Extras.mhk" instead of "extras.mhk"???
P.S. all the other files have been copied-pastied from the 5 CDs. Should i also replace them with the ones created in the program files' after RIVEN installation??
Thanks for you replies
Sorry for the dummy's questions...
I have too many Riven files...

Do you have all the files listed on that page? Detection is based off a_Data.mhk, not extras.mhk. extras.mhk is only used during runtime.kstab wrote:I did exactly that,

Using 1.0.0, Riven is only "supported" (as in you can start it up and do some things, no idea whether it is completable yet) in the development version of ScummVM (and it will probably not be supported in the next release of ScummVM either).kstab wrote:I am using version 1.0.0 (other imported games work flawlesslly)

You need to run this version of ScummVM to detect it and run it:
http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/#SVN
1.0 does not have support for Riven or Myst but the daily builds do.
