Teenagent (GOG version) completed.
Wii Buildbot version r48086
Interesting that I had no problems with the Noty too early bug.
Fixed in r48132 although the build I used is earlier.
I played the game to completion during the last round of testing as well with no problems.
This is the order I used for the 5 attempts to get in the mansion.
1) Gold nugget
2) Climb tree
3) Grappling hook
4) Shovel
5) Dart on beehive

I couldn't help but notice maplesyrup's BASS bug.
As I'd just finished Teenagent and my Wii was still turned on I thought I'd check as the game is on my SD card along with Teenagent.
I got exactly the same problem. When you have a crash on a Wii you get a full screen terminal which gives you info like Exception DSI, Stack dump and Code dump info. I might be able to borrow a camera and take a snap if it's really needed.
The bug is right at the start during the intro scene before the player is given control.
I don't know if it matters but I think my version of BASS is different to the freeware version (v1.2) you have on the downloads page. It's part of a double CD pack along with Cannon Fodder and the ScummVM menu gives it as 'v0.0368 cd'.
Another thing. I recall very recently, maybe just the last few days, when I updated my source folder one of the files updated was sky.cpt. Could the problem lie there?

Actually the bug should be fixed already, but feel free to try and reproduce it with the next snapshot build, whenever that's made.Red_Breast wrote:I couldn't help but notice maplesyrup's BASS bug.

That should be a recognized version already. In fact, I believe the engine would crash with an "unknown version" error if it wasn't. The bug I fixed wasn't version-specific, it was a regression caused by some changes in the sound handling. (It was trying to free an invalid pointer.)Red_Breast wrote: I don't know if it matters but I think my version of BASS is different to the freeware version (v1.2) you have on the downloads page. Strange, I can't see any recent changes to that file. The least ancient change was made more than two years ago, according to the log.Red_Breast wrote: Another thing. A few years ago some strange guy from a strange country developed wearable eye sight enhancements, he called it "glasses"Red_Breast wrote:@ erik
Hmm I just checked sky.cpt. I use Py-SVN-workbench from apt-get. You're right. A few things have happened recently that have made me wonder if my eye sight is going. Apparently it happens to most people once they're in their 40s.

EDIT: The crash at the end credits I mentioned before was my fault. So, BASS is completable with only one minor graphic glitch noticed.
I completed Beneath a Steel Sky. Bug #2960522 doesn't happen anymore. The only thing I noticed was that if you went into the factory before talking to Anita and she said "Hey!" the "Hey!" text won't go away. I filed bug report #2960936.
game version: 0.0372cd/English
Windows 7 64-bit
