Recording ScummVM games
Hello everyone. I would like to do a playthrough of some of my fave games like Beneath a Steel Sky, Sam & Max hit the road and other games but I can't seem to find a recorder that works with ScummVM. I tried Fraps but that doesn't appear to work.
Does anyone know of a solution to this?

The LucasArts SCUMM engine (SPUTM) may have had that, but ScummVM never had. So I stand to what I wrote .LogicDeLuxe wrote:Original SCUMM has such a feature, which was used on the Monkey Island 2 demo.Jonatan wrote:I think he means the action recorder thingy.
It isn't suited for recording the entire game, though. I guess, it doesn't record random events.

Gotcha . Yes, correct, we had an event record, and its parts still lurk inside our code base, happily rotting along and not serving any useful purpose! Sorry, Jonatan!
Not that the event recorder wouldn't have helped the original poster, as he apparently is trying to record a video, not an event stream...

Camtasia and Camstudio are two different software doing the same thing. Camtasia is indeed not free, but camstudio is. I have never used Camstudio so I cannot discuss on the merit of each one.MusicallyInspired wrote:Camstudio is free, isn't it?
