looking for an old game....

Post by amr619 »

hi guys i've been looking for about a year now for an adventure point and click game i used to play with my bro when i was very young, like before i went to kindergarten all i remember is.......
u start under a tree talking to a someone wearing similar clothes to the main character, u walk right u find a bridge to the next cliff, then another one which breaks if u step on it, if u do u fall into the river and die.
i think the game was set between 400 AD and the early-mid 1800's AD.
plz reply

That makes me think of MicroProse's adventures (Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender, Dragonsphere, and Return of the Phantom), which had very smooth character animation. Though I only played through Dragonsphere, and the rest of the description doesn't make it sound like that one.

Sounds a bit like Conquests of the Longbow, though not completely.

I'm pretty sure you couldn't die in Torin's Passage.

Whoops. Been quite a number of years since I played that, and I only did once.

Guess it continues the Sierra tradition :)

absoloutly not torin's passage.
the game has more basic graphics and no voice acting.

Sadly I don't think the info you've given is enough. If you remember the year, language etc. of the game that would probably be pretty helpful in narrowing it down.

also the mood, color tone of the game or any little detail is helpful. you seem to remember what the main character looked like, you could try to describe him/her.
