Simon the Sorcerer saved game data

Post by ThinkBomb! »

Hello!
I just saved my game in Simon the Sorcerer when you first get to the tower of doom and I think my save game data got corrupted! :x (ScummVM crashes whenever I try to load it) Does anyone have a save game near this part or know of a website where I could download it? Help would be greatly appreciated :D

I'm not sure if it will for certain but the output from the command line / terminal / Konsole might help work out what the problem is and if your game save is the problem or not.

Where did you get that save from and have you any idea why it's corrupted?

Else I would suggest:

I didn't get it from anywhere it’s just the save I started the game with and it stopped working on me one day so I assumed it was corrupted

As LordHoto said, using the Bug Tracker would be a good idea. Not only is there a much better chance that the problem won't be forgotten, you can attach the offending savegame so others can try to reproduce the problem.

I'm pretty new to the ScummVM community so I don't know what exactly the bug tracker is or how to use it...Sorry if this is stupid question

You'll need to create an account (you should see a link for that on the bug tracker web page). After that, you should be able to use the "Add new" link to add a new bug report.
