ScummVM for Android on SE Xperia x10
Just played through monkey island 1 on my xperia x10, worked perfectly! Didnt have a single error or problem.
Also just figured out how to get past the copy protection in monkey island 2 (hold the menu key to get the keyboard, enter a number and hit enter twice).
In monkey island 3, in order to get the inventory, hold the menu key to get the keyboard, press 'i' and then enter, then press the back key to close the keyboard.
Broken Sword 1 & 2 seems to work fine, but i only tested briefly.
Sam & Max Hit the Road also seems to run fine.
Simon the Sorcerer 1 & 2 (windows cd version) however is running very slow, to the point where i cant stand it.

(Thanks for the success report)
That's interesting. I wonder what Simon the Sorcerer does differently... I don't have any redraw rate limiting and I don't try to calculate my own dirty rectangles - I wonder if Simon the Sorcerer is redrawing waay more than necessary.zordnil wrote:Simon the Sorcerer 1 & 2 (windows cd version) however is running very slow, to the point where i cant stand it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it redraws the entire screen each frame.gus wrote:I wonder if Simon the Sorcerer is redrawing waay more than necessary.

Hi!
I got SE Xperia10 but with the original firmware on it, and the sound doesnt work for me too (MI1-3, FullThrottle,..).
Are there any configurations that have to be made before it works? Any sound drivers that have to be activated for android or sth like that?
Couldnt find anything else for that specific problem and it somehow scares me that it worked for zordnil perfectly Oo
Any suggestions?

Hi!
Same problem when trying to save. I can not enter a description. Unfortunately a default name "save game 1" (or so) is chosen automatically.
But in "Flight of the amazon queen" I am not able to enter anything the journal (to save a game)....
What do I do wrong? Any hints?
Thx for any help!
P.s. Using ScummVM 1.0.0pre0 from Andriod Market!
Hmm. Tried you tip but could not pass the copy protection: Pressed the menu (long) to get the keyboard. Entered four digits and hit enter twice but nothing happened. No code was entered.zordnil wrote:Just played through monkey island 1 on my xperia x10, worked perfectly! Didnt have a single error or problem.
