Leather Goddess of Phobos 2 load error

I recently got the new version of Scummvm, and started the game Leather Goddess of Phobos 2. Since the game doesnt support the save/load feature from the program. I used the save option from the game itself (which creates a save file to the directory). I tried loading that save file only to have the game crash... help?

I don't know if I have the same problem as the OP but -:

I have a complete set of 15 savegames that play the whole way through LGOP2 on the PC versions of ScummVM (1.1.1 and current SVN). They reload without any problem.

They used to load fine with an earlier version of ScummVM for the PSP but now they always crash the console.

I have submitted a report of my problem (and a savegame) to the bug tracker.
