windows mobile 5 soft input panel

I am using a dell axim x50v with windows mobile 5.
Pocketscumm works fine except the windows keyboard icon is still accessible but invisible. If I tap that area the keyboard appears instead of the character walking there.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and can anyone offer a solution?

Hello,

add ScummVM to the startmenu and start it without another Application on the screen (Today Screen is visible). This causes no keyboard icon is visible and therefore the problem is not occurring.

There's been some kind of regression in the SDL library which is used for displaying the graphics. I think you'll both find that using this version here (or IIRC the official 0.8.2 ppc2002 build) you'll have no problems with the keyboard icon popping up (I think so, but if the problem persists even with this version, matters will be further complicated).
