Yes, save files in ScummVM are gzip'd, so any tool that can handle them should work.KuroShiro wrote:As I was kindly informed, you will need to extract the .sav file (7zip works) in order to use it in the normal Sierra interpreter or the AGDI version.neosmagus wrote:

Thanks! It works! Is there any process I need to do once I finish QFG2VGA to get my character into QFG3? Do I g-zip it again, or will ScummVM support the save directly? Are there any special formats/settings? (Don't know g-zip, but ZipGenius extracted it just fine).KuroShiro wrote:As I was kindly informed, you will need to extract the .sav file (7zip works) in order to use it in the normal Sierra interpreter or the AGDI version.neosmagus wrote:

It should work as is, as long you as add the prefix 'qfg2-' to the filename. Check the pop-up dialogue when you import into QFG3.neosmagus wrote: Thanks! It works! G-Zip is short for GNU Zip. It's an open source compression doo-dad for Linux/Unix based systems.

Most of the current open bugs are really difficult to track down and solve. I guess it will take some time. I'm also currently playing through King's Quest 4 early by myself and found 2 quite complicated bugs already (gladly both of them are already resolved).KuroShiro wrote:So, seems like most games have been tested and there's only really one or two "Major" game-stopping bugs left. Does this mean a release is imminent, or is there still much more polishing to do?
It also seems that we got some bigger music issues with Larry 2 early.
