Secret of Monkey Island - Sega CD (Japanese) freezing

Hi,

My girlfriend is currently playing through SOMI - Sega CD (Jap). ScummVM-A is freezing randomly during the "insult" pirate fight scenes.
When it occurs, I am unable to exit to any menus.

Nintendo DS Lite, M3 DS Real.

I'm not currently using any WAV files, but I would have that such an issue would have made it crash more specifically rather than randomly.

If anyone could shed some light onto what is causing the problem or how to debug it, it would be much appreciated.

Hmmm....I updated the M3 system software from 69 to 71 and it seems to have stopped the crashing.

But, apparently, she is sometimes still unable to select an insult and after a couple of seconds it will be chosen automatically.

Perhaps I should test this against the English version as well as in the PC port of ScummVM.

Tested on Arch Linux port of ScummVM...
