A new engine. One for the Christopher Lloyd fans.

Just noticed the new Toon engine when updating my source.
I wish the team luck with the process. Needless to say I assume it's pointless trying it out right now.
Where there any other games that used the engine?

Actually, the game is already completable. From my brief testing so far, I noticed some minor graphic glitches, but nothing major.

 Adding support for Toonstruck is great news! Big thanks to those who have worked on the engine implementation.

No, but it does share some resources with Kyra. Not enough similarities to be in the same engine, though.

How can I add the game. I tried the newest svn but it fails to detect the game.

Make sure that when you click on the About button that the 'Toon' engine is listed. If you're using a downloaded daily build, it may still be on the 1.2 release branch, which doesn't have the engine. Apart from that, I just copied the contents of both CDs into a folder on my hard disk, and it detected the game. The folder should have four subfolders: act1, act2, burst, and misc.

This is a Link to the always newest Daily Build for Windows.

Toonstruck should work on this.

At least on my CDs, the "burst" folder doesn't seem to contain anything directly related to the game. Of course, I could be wrong about that.

I can't run it myself, it asks for a toon.dat file which says can be downloaded from the homepage, but I can't find it.

Browse the SVN (click "Subversion Tree" on the main homepage) and navigate to dists/engine-data/. The file can be downloaded from there.

First of all I'd just like to say stunning work guys... I've been waiting patiently for months and now it's working almost flawlessly!

I do have a question though if I may...

Where does the data for toon.dat come from? Presumably it wasn't hand written by the ScummVM engineer, as it contains locations not in the final game... but I am a little confused as to why 'Flux Wildly' is misspelled... It shows up correctly when playing the game through DosBox, but in ScummVM it appears as 'Flux Wildlie', I'm guessing as a result of this file?
