Gamepad support in ScummVM?

I did a search on this forum to make sure this wasn't already asked. If it was, I apologize.

I've really enjoyed playing ScummVM on so many platforms with different interface controllers. However, I always find myself going back to the PC version for some reason. Has there ever been a consideration to support gamepads, say the XBOX 360 controller, for the PC? While I do think a mouse has the best overall movement, I think there may be a small target audience who wouldn't mind having the ability to pick up a gamepad (ala Monkey Island SE) and play ScummVM. This is not a request, just was wondering if any developers would even consider it?

If you mean control the mouse via a gamepad:

If you use Windows then there are many options like this one

If you use linux then it is sometimes already on by default. I had to research how to turn that behavior off.

Add the line:

joystick_num=0

to the [scummvm] section of your scummvm.ini file.

Tested with a 360 gamepad and worked fine.
