So I just got an android device. And one of the first things I did was to install scummvm and try to get my old pc version of Maniac Mansion - Day of the tentacle on it.
I downloaded the scummvm emulator and the plugin necessary for DOTT from android market. As I started the game I was happy, as it seemed to be fully functioning with sound and all. Until I noticed there was no speech. No voices what so ever. All other sounds work fine. I am running android 2.1.
Note that I have turned the speech option on and that I do have the CD version (not the floppy) so the voices should be there.
Anyone have a solution for this? Please help!

If it was the desktop version of ScummVM, I would have guessed that the monster.sou file had been misplaced or truncated. With Android... I don't know.
If it's any help. These are the files I have transferred to my android device:
monster.sof

I tried playing it on my pc with scummvm with the same files, and it works perfectly.

Recopy the file from your original medium.
