Editing Graphics in Scumm-V1-Games (MM & Zak V1)

Post by a.borque »

Hello!
I planned to translate the low-res EGA-Versions of Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken (which were originally released only in english) to german.
While I was able to extract the texts using scummtr I have found no way to extract the room- and object graphics. A way described for Indy3 does not work. Also Scumm V1 is not supported by Scumm Revisited. After reading lot's of documents here and elsewhere I can not solve this on my own.
So -aside from programming new tools which I can't- are there any other tools or a working way for scummtr to export and reimport graphics into lfl-files used by Scumm V1?
Thanks!
