How to get it working on PS3?

Is there anyway to get ScummVM working on a PS3 without having to mod it or anything?

I don't think a hardware modification is needed.
I am assuming that's what you mean by "mod it".

No, you need a way to install the scummvm package on the PS3, with either a custom firmware or a jailbreak dongle.
If your system version is above 3.55 you're out of luck as that version is the last with a public exploit.

Mine is version 4.00... and I'd need firmware for installation if I still had 3.55?
