...don't work.
I followed these instructions to the letter and it won't even install properly. I've created the MinGW folder, downloaded and extracted all the listed archives in the proper order with the provided links and then installed MSys. Upon installing MSys it says it can't find gcc.exe in the MinGW/bin folder and then proceeds to install without MinGW. Why is it not there? Am I doing something wrong? I had this setup working fine on my last system, but haven't yet installed it on my newest system (Win 7 64-bit).
Also, the link to the precompiled libraries archive is broken.

The instructions in the wiki are pretty badly outdated. I actually posted a small guide over on the residual forums which someone cleaned up a bit in the first post. It's a different program, but the same basic process applies when using MinGW. You'll just need a few more optional libraries (the instructions for those on the ScummVM Wiki are still accurate) in order to compile with all the options you may want.
