I can´t install ScummVm

Hello, I´ve a tablet with Android 2.2.1, when I try to install Scummvm the tablet show the message "The aplication isn´t installed". I´ve try a few versions and nothing. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

My tablet is Bq Verne with android 2.2, in the forums of my tablet anybody can't install it :-(

Do you have enough available internal storage? And the cache is not "relocated" to a SD card?

yes I have much free memory, if I remove the SD card neither work, not is problem only of my tablet, all my friend which the same model of tablet have the same error...

Wow, what a sad news :( I made a post recently asking for a cheap/good tablet, and finally I wanted to buy the same model that you have the issue.. (bq Verne/ android 2.2)

Its very strange, I hope someone could know the solution.

did you try the latest nightly build + plugins ?

i'm thinking in my tablet isn't possible install aplications in the external memory, only is possible install in the internal memory... Can be this the problem???

That error means the package manager failed. Please provide Android logs from just after the failed install (for example using aLogcat, or 'adb logcat').

It looks like you don't have a Froyo kernel? I don't think we can help, if this tablet does not properly support Android 2.2. It seems to work fine with Android 2.1 on the Bq Verne.

The tablet has an official update of android 2.2 from BQ, it's a shame it does not work, I'm thinking return to android 2.1 if Scummvn doesn't work for my 2.2 version, thanks a lot.

Wow I,ve installed in my tablet with froyo, the steps are:

1.Conect the tablet to the PC with the USB wire.

2.activate USB to PC conection Mode

3.Push Home Bottom

4.Go to Market and install Scummvm and plugging

5.Now you can deactivate the USB to Pc conectionmode.

6. Enjoy!!

 I hope this can help other people....

oche´s steps work perfectly for me, im using an Entourage Pocket Edge with Anddroid 2.2 Froyo sistem, coudn´t intall ScumVM, beacuze of the same problem some poople is having, the "Aplication not installed" message, I had some similar troubles with this tablet before when I was trying to install aplications that use SD card space, or when i try to send instaled aplications to the SD card, its mainly cuz this tablet has some weird configuration of Internal Space, Internal Sd Card, External space, USB Space and stuff like that, but conecting the USB cable to the computer and using the debug mode worked just fine...
