Saving/loading in Humongous titles

Post by Retrodude »

Recently installed the Android port on my Cruz tablet, and after fiddling around and getting it to work, it runs great. My problem, though, is that several of the older Humongous titles require you to press the S and L keys to save and load respectively, and a lack of keyboard makes saving impossible in these titles. The only physical buttons on this tablet are the power button and two volume control buttos. Would there be any way to bring up the touchscreen keyboard or somehow map the volume buttons to the needed keys?

From the wiki:

I tried that, and instead of bringing up the keyboard it listed recently-used applications. The menu button is the home symbol in the top left corner, correct?
Edit: Nevermind, I now know I'm supposed to press the menu button that looks like a grid. My problem now, however, is that when I hold the button down for the required amount of time, it forces the ScummVM menu to pop up anyways and doesn't bring up the keyboard at all. Am I doing something wrong?
