I downloaded and instaled "mt32emu_winMMdrv_2011_06_10.zip" in some computers with the following OS's:

Windows 7:
W7 ultimate 32: phenom 8400 x3, athlon 64 x2 5200+ (it worked fine)
W7 home premium 32: pentium e2160, pentium d 820, celeron 420 (it worked fine)

Windows xp:
WXP Pro: sempron 2800+ socket 754 (it worked fine, but mt32emu_drv_GUI.exe didn't work. it should be because of framework haven't instaled, well, i believe so.)

WXP Pro: sempron 2800+(K7) socket 462 and athlon xp 2000
(both instaled perfectly, but when i try to run some program (eg: media player, scummvm, dosbox), it happen an error with "mt32emu.dll can't be open").

i thought that it was because of windows xp, but the emu worked in semp 2800+ 754 processor with this OS. it should be because of the k7(sempron 2800 and athlon xp 2000 462 processor) doesn't have SSE2 and SSE3 instructions. All processors worked the emulator has also x64(ineeded, because the OS shown above are x86), SSE2 and SSE3, alread the k7 processors has only SSE, MMX and 3D Now instruction.

Well, I think so!

Just saw this. No, I only have one. The other module is a CM-500 which is an SC-55 and CM-32L in one. The CM-32L is very different from the MT-32, though, in a lot of ways. Including the fact that overflow mode doesn't work with it, hence the need for a second MT-32. ;)

Noticed that the development discussion of MUNT reloaded on the VOGONS forum has slowed a bit. From what I can see, there's just a few loose ends to tie up, but the product seems almost fully capable to emulate most the Roland almost perfectly. Was just wondering if this would be a good time to add in the new MUNT code into ScummVM? Just wondering, not rushing anyone. : ) I love ScummVM and would love to see this level of emulation rolled in permanently. Thanks!!

One of the people involved in MUNT is going to implement it into ScummVM itself, as I understand it, when he considers it ready.

We just got latest munt code merged into ScummVM. Try the daily build to get the emulation in its full glory.

... hallelujah !!

Update> so i did try latest daily ScummVM build with MUNT support /test song - PQ II intro/, but sound is extremely wrong - noisy, false tones, cracking .. nowhere near the DosBox quality /DOSBox 0.74 SVN r3775/
