Monkey Island Madness MI3 Demo
I noticed that Monkey Island Madness was listed as a game for DOS. I also noticed that MI3 was for Windows, so I was wondering if the demo was for DOS. I know this is probably a stupid question, but can anyone with the game answer this for me? Or somebody that knows, I guess.

According to the MobyGames technical specs page, the demo required Windows 95.

Definitely Windows only, it was written using the Direct X 5.0 libraries. I remember because I was using Windows 3.1 when the demo was released as a "32 bit Windows" application, AKA Windows 95. This game was one the main reasons I upgraded. It took about 15 floppies, but it was worth it to play MI3.
It took a while for me to see Windows as a gaming OS. Before Direct X, all the good games were written in DOS, as it had direct access to hardware; resulting in faster better looking games. I became quite skilled at creating boot disks to get as much memory available, especially the first 640k.
