Hi,
A few guys from the INN Revival mailing list are looking for help reverse engineering the INN client and re-implementing the INN server.

Here is LSCI Toolkit, a related open-source (abandoned?) project by Ben R. Young, the author of INN Revival:

And here is FauxINN, and older attempt at re-implementing INN:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/fauxinn/

It might help getting started with the LSCI formats for those who're willing to help.
