Amazone Queen

Post by Strangerke »

Several years ago, we brought you the English, the German and the Hebrew versions of "Flight of the Amazon Queen". Today, thanks to John Passfield and Steve Stamatiadis over at Krome Studios in Australia and their previous discussions with James 'Ender' Brown, the ScummVM project team is proud to bring you the French talkie version of the game.

You can download it from the downloads page. Have fun!

Thanks for the news.

But for the Italian version?
In this old thread:
http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php ... n&start=15
there is the link for downloading the Italian version of FOTAQ (English voices and Italian subtitles):
http://www.teriografia.org/archivi/amaz ... fotaq.html
and the request to host it for download on ScummVM website.
This version works perfectly on ScummVM.
It is possible to host it, or at least saying that the Italian version is available on internet?

Thank you for all the work.

Just checked that page and those links are now broken.
Nevertheless many pages provide links to the italian version of the game (no italian dubbing though, just subs).
The first I found is from Passfield himself, but again, the link points to nowhere.
Next page is from an italian forum Arena80 (the topic is about old games). Their link works and opens a page on mediafire with both the floppy version (no voices) and the CD version.
Last page is this, it offers the same CD italian version of the game.
It is noticeable that only the CD package contains the file with license from Passfield.
Also, the CD release is the ISO image of the original disc.
I think it would be nice to have this italian version too available from scummvm website (for the CD release at least).
