How do you report bugs?

As per the subject line?

I found the bug tracker on SoureForge but I don't have permission to add new bugs, so how is this possible?

I tried and it gave me an error message, I think you need to be invited to join the team first.

Oh well, guess I'll just fix the bug for my port only

No, you don't need to be invited (unless sourceforge distinguishes between user and developer, but still...)

You just have to create a simple sourceforge.net account, then you can add bugs to your hearts desire.

What was/is the error message?
Maybe the username you chose is simply already given?

It sounds to me like you are trying to sign up as a ScummVM developer on Sourceforge...

As Raziel says you just need a standard Sourceforge account, nothing special.
