Possible to play Palm version saves on Windows version?

I love this program and this port, and while I like playing DOTT on my T|3, it's nice to upgrade to a larger screen. However, when I try copying my save games off my SD to my PC and using those in ScummVM, version 8.2 or 7.1., it reports the save game as "Invalid version"

Anyone have a clue why this would be? I've been trying to puzzle it out myself but it seems like I am the first one to try doing this.

These are newer version based on lastest SVN snapshot. To use them use the snapshot
