Use PC data files from MI 1/2 on Mac OS X?

Post by Stutz »

Hi I have not actually used ScummVM yet, but at this stage I am interested in running through my old Monkey Island 1+2 -- but I'd like to do it on my iBook laptop. I have the programs on my dos/windows PC and while I'm sure that once I have the ScummVM program it will probably be more clear to me, can anyone clarify for me - would those data files be sufficient to run the games in OS X?

thanks

Yeah, I can confirm it will definitely work on Mac OS X. I have a Monkey Madness CD (contains both Monkey 1 and 2) and it works fine on my G3 iBook.

Well I got it working..
Wow! I had no idea it would be as simple as "add game ... start"
I expected to have to do at least a bit of configuring of some sort :P

truly outstanding!

For the record, I'm playing Maniac Mansion, DotT, Sam & Max, The Dig, Full Throttle, and CoMI, all PC versions, on my Mac.
