Nice! Do you have a homepage for it, or a link where one can download binary & source?

Thanks it's slowly getting there....although you guys did most of the work of course :D

No sorry....no home page. The latest version can always be downloaded from the Amiga resource site AmiNet

Now also ported to ECS Amiga's (eg A600) which only support 64 colors so I'm having to convert from 8 bit to 6 bit in realtime for the games and 16 bit to 6 bit for the Launcher.

DOTT in only 64 colors

Hehe, very cool. Just found out about this and now I feel like unpacking my A1200 and give it a try and see how it works on a 50MHz 68030 :)

Now done an Amiga RTG port of v1.3.1

Check it out running the Curse of Monkey Island or a real machine right here

I'm not sure who actually looks after this website but I could send the links for the v1.3.1 Amiga install packages to add to the downloads section (eg 'Release binaries' or maybe 'Older versions unsupported').

Just let me know.

Our downloads page only contains official version (or ones which were official at the time they were made). Since your version is not built via an unaltered copy of the release source(?) there is no way for it to be put on our Downloads page. If you want your port to get official, you should file a pull request on github and get your code merged. Then we are happy to put your builds for upcoming versions on the download page.

How much RAM does it actually require? I'm trying it on the Minimig core (docking13) for the Chameleon 64. It has Chip: 2MB, Slow: 1.5MB, Fast: 8MB.
When I start it from the Classic Workbench GUI, it just occupies a few MB and quits after a few seconds without any message.
When I start it with no startup-sequence, it just says "ScummVM ECS: not enough memory available".

Congratulations. I tried on my Amiga SCUMMVM PPC/060 many years ago and was slow and jerky.

Thanks :D

A PPC user once told me that my 68k port ran Full Throttle better than his old PPC port ever did :D

Curse of Monkey Island 68k style

I'm now working on an Amiga 68k port of DosBox BTW using a dynamic 060 68k core 8)

Issue with Lands of Lore

Post by davesade »

Hello, I'm running SCUMMVM for AGA 060 on my Amiga. Unfortunately the error "KYRA.DAT is missing or corrupted, please re-get it from the SCUMMVM website" appears, when I'm trying to run Land of Lore.

KYRA.DAT is in dh0:\Programs\SCUMMVM_AGA

It was part of original LHA package, which I have downloaded from the Aminet.

But I have also tried to replace the very same file with:
- freshly downloaded file from Datafiles Wiki page for SCUMMVM
- from older / different version of SCUMMVM (for Amiga and even for the Windows)

I do have correct uppercase name of the file.

Configuration: A1200+Blizzard060, 64 MB RAM, OS 3.9, IndivisionAGA.

Other games are running fine (eg. Day of the Tentacle).

Any idea or help will be appreciated. I tried to google this error message, but no luck.

In the ScummVM menu there is a tab called "paths"...check where the "extra" path points to and copy the kyra.dat file into this subdir.
