i have recently started to package Lure and Drascula for Debian GNU/Linux and i also saw that Dreamweb is offered for "free" at scummvm.org.
I can't find another thread about this but i wondered why an important paragraph is missing in Dreamweb's license.
All other games namely Beneath a Steely Sky, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Lure of the Temptress and Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back contain this license paragraph:
If this is intentional could someone point out to me why this decision has been made? Would it be possible to change the license? The benefit of this paragraph was that it would be possible to include the game in Debian and i'm sure other Linux distributions could then embrace Dreamweb, too.You may modify the game as you wish. You may also distribute modified versions under the terms set forth in this license, but with the additional requirement that the work is marked with a prominent notice which states that it is a modified version.
Any hints why Dreamweb is treated differently are welcome!
