Screenshots - Windows 7 File Location

Post by sammymarlo »

I am using Scumm with Windows 7.

Where are screenshots that are taken stored? IE - What is the file location for these screenshots?

If you mean the one created with Alt-S, I don't think it tries to save it to any particular folder, so it may try to write it to the one where ScummVM is installed. (Which may not even be writeable, I guess, so maybe running ScummVM in windowed mode, using Alt-PrintScreen and pasting the screenshot into, say, Paint would work better? I don't know, I rarely run ScummVM in Windows myself.)

If it tries to write in in a folder in the %ProgramFiles% folder, it will probably end up in the Virtual Store, unless UAC is turned off.

From the search box or the run box:

%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\ScummVM

or if you only have32-bit Windows:

%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files\ScummVM
