When I try to start Myst Masterpiece Edition, I get a "game data not found" error message. I have ScummVM and the Mohawk engine loaded on my Galaxy S3. I have downloaded the following files to the game folder:
CHANNEL.DAT
CREDITS.DAT
DUNNY.DAT
HELP.DAT
INTRO.DAT
MECHAN.DAT
MYST.DAT
SELEN.DAT
STONE.DAT
QTW folder
I read that the latest stable Buildbot will solve this issue. I have it downloaded to my phone, but how do I load/extract it to ScummVM? Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers!

Use androzip (freeware) from Google Play (Android Marketplace) to decompress .tar.bz on your phone.
If not an option, use a desktop program such as 7zip or similar to decompress and copy back the apks.
Uninstall the stable ScummVM and enable "third party software installation" in the Settings->Security menu and agree to worrying message about damage from unknown sources. Note: You may want to disable this after you have installed the development ScummVM from buildbot, you can always renable this if needed.
Install the main ScummVM apk from buildbot and the required engine apks.. This may require a file manager. A good free one is GhostCommander which can be found in Google Play along with several of the alternative marketplaces.

I should also point out that this is NOT an issue.
Myst support is still incomplete and so disabled in all stable releases. Please do not report any bugs on this in a formal manner, but do drop us a message in our IRC channel to a developer if you find any issue, not listed on:

Ermm... The clue to how often they are updated is in the name!
http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/#daily
They are generated automatically from the latest source code daily... as such, they could be broken, so I wouldn't suggest using them or upgrading to them regularly unless you have a specific reason.

No problem.. I do have a rather dry sense of humour.

I have modified the buildbot to produce Android daily builds in zip, rather than .tar.bz2 archives.
You can now easily use GhostCommander (Free, Open Source Filemanager) to decompress this as it will extract zip files in addition to allowing you to trigger installs from the apks.
This can be found in Google Play or the alternative F-Droid OSS repository and probably the Amazon marketplace as well...
