I must say that I'm Really impressed
I downloaded a daily snapshot of scummvm ,
Put the shiver disc in the drive and ran it with scummvm
And the game was really playable (with warnings in the console and little graphics glitches).
Now I would like to know if I can Beat this game using
scummvm or it is likely to crash at some point and become unwinnable.
Running this game and playing it on a 64 bit OS using scummvm is much more Comfortable than running it on an virtual machine (like using XP mode)
or in windows 3.11 on dosbox.
Question about Shiver 1
Moderator: ScummVM Team
We don't know, nobody has played Shivers 1 till the end.
Do note that support for SCI32 games, such as Shivers is pretty much a work in progress, thus you will likely experience graphical and sound glitches, and perhaps unexpected behavior and crashes. Feel free to test it out though, it would be nice to have reports on problematic locations, as it'll help our work on the engine
