(I couldn't really decide with certainty in which forum to post this, so sorry if I got it wrong!)
Hello everyone!
I have read the Mohawk support wiki entry and most of the forum threads about it, so I know that there are still bugs; however, considering I never played Riven, I really don't understand the severity of having problems with the underwater viewer or the marble puzzle, and the fact that it's "completable with no prior knowledge" gets me excited. I just finished Myst for the first time and can't wait to continue my travels (on Linux).
So, my question is (and ideally the answer would come from someone who did a complete playthrough with a recent daily version), in practice, would it be "safe" to use ScummVM to play Riven for the first time? By "safe", I mean, will I have any immersion-breaking problems where I'm trying to solve a puzzle which is actually an engine problem, or will I just be able to run through it fine?
I'm using always my own build of the git master branch.
Thanks a lot!!!
