Mohawk & Scumm engines: Similarities or Differences?
Are there any similarities or differences between the Scumm engine (which carries LucaArts & Humongous Entertaiment games) and the Mohawk engine (which carries Broderbund games like Living Books)?

I'm just wondering why the games that are from the "Mohawk" engine are brought to the "Scumm" virtual machine, I mean couldn't there be a MohawkVM?clone2727 wrote:This isn't really an answerable question. What about them do you want to know? They're designed by two different companies for two completely different purposes.

Eh? ScummVM isn't only about the SCUMM engine anymore. A lot of other engines have been implemented, which are created by different companies (e.g. AGI and SCI by Sierra, AGOS by Adventuresoft, gob by Coktel Vision, kyra by Westwood etc). Mohawk is one of these engines.HumongoRad wrote:I'm just wondering why the games that are from the "Mohawk" engine are brought to the "Scumm" virtual machine, I mean couldn't there be a MohawkVMclone2727 wrote:This isn't really an answerable question.
