why the Scummvm Not Updating Scummvm For Symbian 2nd edition ?

We Just Stuck In Version 0.9.1,
Version 1.0 only minimally been
of sufficient, while the version
of Symbian on it's been updated
to version 1.6.0 on,, version
0.9.1 too many bugs, so it can not play monkey Island 2 cliff
side

rofikcoga: The Symbian port is only officially supported for S60v3 and UIQ devices as these are the devices which the Symbian porters are using:

Symbian is a technically tricky target to support and it is doubtful that S60v2 builds will be produced in future by the porters as it is obselete with little interest from the porters to support.

As we are an open source project, you can always compile a build for yourself.

I am guessing slightly at what you are asking as your English is somewhat unclear.

I did suspect that might be the case. This is likely a bug fixed in newer versions.

The only solution is to use a newer version, but I can not provide a build since no version beyond v0.9.1 was released and buildbot does not build daily builds for Symbian.

tl;dr Can Not Fix.

Again, your English syntax is fairly poor, so having to guess what your question is.

If you mean "Will the ScummVM team be producing S60v2 builds?" I have already answered that i.e. It is unlikely.

If you mean "Can I compile a build of ScummVM v1.6.0 for S60v2?", the answer is "I don't know... Can you? :)"...

Seriously, I have given you the links to getting the source code, compiling on Win32/Linux/OSX and the specific instructions for compiling Symbian... S60v2 is not a supported configuration and Symbian is a bit of a pain to get the SDK to work (hence why this is not supported), but feel free to try.

tl;dr You may be able to make your own build, but it will be hard.

I'm surprised people still use S60v2 phones as they are now 8 years old (Nokia switched to S60v3 in summer 2006 IIRC).
