I suppose you are speaking of the new tracker (http://bugs.scummvm.org/)? It uses GitHub for authentication. GitHub (https://github.com) is a third party web site that we are using to host the ScummVM source code. Did you try creating an account there? Once this is done you should be able to log in our new tracker.

Ah, right. After logging in trac, did you go to Preferences to set your email address? If in GitHub you set your email address to be public then trac gets it automatically I think, but otherwise you need to set it manually the first time you log in.
If the email address is set correctly in trac then I guess we just have to wait for wjp to reply to you email and hopefully fix the issue.
