OPENGL graphic setting...

Post by nafeasonto »

Can someone explain to me how to use this?

Is this for Texture packs and stuff for certain games?

Under "Graphics mode"? It just means ScummVM uses OpenGL for drawing. It shouldn't affect the game's graphics at all.

From what I understand it can be better when running games in fullscreen, since - unlike other graphics modes - it isn't limited to scaling the graphics to exactly 1, 2 or 3 times their original size. Since I'm usually quite happy with running the game in a small window, I don't use it myself.

(OpenGL should also let you resize the ScummVM window freely, though at least for me that ability is lost if I switch to fullscreen and then back to windowed mode again.)

If i set "OpenGL" i don't even have windowed display anymore.
On switching (ALT-ENTER) ScummVM just switches to a black screen and back to fullscreen.
