Buying Sherlock Holmes: Case of the Rose Tattoo

Post by mattn »

I wanna buy "The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: Case of the Rose Tattoo" - preferably in german. Can anyone give me a hand here? At amazon I can only find the english versions.

(doesn't really matter, if I can't find the german, I will just pick that one... - but I thought asking here would be worth a try)

Thanks

The German CD version of the second game is fully localized. It features German text + voice acting.

Anyway, what you are linking to is the first game, not the second one.

The first one was also fully localized, but the CD version is just like the floppy version and only features voice acting for specific scenes like the intro. Only the 3DO version has voice acting for everything including full motion video.

Nice. As of today, I can progress about 3/5th of the way through the game, and I'm hoping to get further now that the darts minigame is fixed. The game should be fairly stable, except for minor occasional graphic glitches to be fixed, and no voice playback yet.

Just wanted to say thanks again to the hard work you guys put into it. These games definitely belong to my favourite adventures.

I have my old German boxed version I bought 20 years ago. Unfortunately, it isn't for sale. ;)

But here you can find some for roundabout 20€:
