Discworld Freeware?

I'm not sure if this has been posted before...but does anyone know about the status of Discworld being a freeware?

Sorry to bring this back up, but I don't see any indication of progress on this and am wondering if the death of Terry Pratchett is going to affect the dealings here.

Was he the sole rights holder? I can try to help, but I've been out of the loop for a while.

Also has anyone reached out to his estate? I think enough time has passed, and would hate if something got lost because someone didn't know what they had.

I confirm: his death doesn't help, quite the opposite even.
