Can play Mac games on PC with ScummVM?
I have got the Monkey Island 2 Mac version but when I start the game in the newest (1.9.0.2) ScummVM it closes itself!
Hi,
Yes, you should be able to play mac games on a PC, although extracting correctly the data files from the CD or floppies can be tricky. It would be useful to know what errors you get, if any, when you start the game. See our FAQ for indications of how to see those errors on Windows.
You can also check that you are not missing a game data file by checkout the list of required files. In the case of Monkey Island 2 mac you need to take special care of how you get the iMuse Setups file from the original medium. We have a How To to explain how to do it.

Thanks for the answer!
I don't get any errors, the ScummVM closes itself after I start the game!
I got the game from: abandonware link removed
Is the problem with this version?
Edit: Yes, the problem was this version because the imuse file is 0 byte in it. I had to extract from an original version.
AND IT WORKS NOW!
But a lot of sound effects are missing!
Thanks for the help again!
