I created an account, 6 years after the next most recent post, just to hop on and say that not only does this still work, it works great. Dusted off the old TouchPad for a long trip, and played all the way through Broken Sword 2 before the end of my return trip.
You can buy classic, legit, licensed SCUMM games from gog.com. Inside their install folder (or app package, on a Mac) is a ScummVM folder that contains the un-altered game bits. Copy that to the TouchPad and enjoy a great experience on-the-go.
Really well done. You brought some great games back to life, on a great old tablet.

Re: ScummVM 2.0 Built for webOS
Going beyond just being a fan, I've now built ScummVM 2.0 for webOS and tested it on my TouchPad. Everything works great!
I have the .ipk (webOS binary) on my OneDrive. Can anyone help me get this posted as an official download?

codepoet80: Maybe pop into our IRC channel or drop a message to the scummvm-devel mailing list asking about that since not all developers check the forums. WebOS porter has not provided a build since v1.7.0 so there is an opening for a new WebOS port maintainer
Re: Updated WebOS port with new features. Now Touchpad-friendly!
Though it should be noted that we do have automatically generated builds of the latest development code from git from our buildbot here:
https://buildbot.scummvm.org/builds.html
https://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/ ... est.tar.xz
Though always good to have a maintainer checking that those have not bitrotted in some way ... though that usually happens by SDK or target device OS update.

Yes, bit rot seems to have caught up with the webOS port. Not surprising, cause getting the SDK/PDK running these days is a real chore.
I have an environment now, and I'm working on a gesture tweak to allow the Global Menu (important in Myst) to be invoked (currently not possible in the webOS port).
I'll try IRC for getting connected!

Yes, IRC or a quick message to scummvm-devel list is optimal, but apart from that any code changes / fixes can be submitted as a Github Pull Request and will get reviewed and merged.
It would also be good to be the relevant Wiki pages updated for others wanting to compile and some help / notes on fixing up the Buildbot toolchain if it is outdated / producing broken builds:
