ScummVM crashes at launch

Hello,

Don't know if anyone has the same: scummvm is crashing right when launching it. From command line, no message but "segmentation fault". Scumm has not even a chance to log anything, so crashing very soon.
I'm under Fedora 29 x64 with Wayland.

Any idea anyone?

I know the nightly has problems with the curl version mint19 ships with. You could sidestep your problem with wine.

Actually I don't use the nightly, but the regular Fedora package.
And I'd rather try to solve the issue instead of going with the Windows port through wine. Will do if I'm really hopeless on this issue.
