I just "inherited" some old Macintosh floppy disks, and SQ1 VGA seems to be among them. Initially I though the version I have found would not be recognized by Scummvm (I am in Spain, even if the game seems to be in english), but to my surprise, after copying the game files to a FAT16-formatted unit and transferring them to my GNU/Linux systems, Scummvm DOES recognize the game!!!

So, I had some great fun trying my own dumped Macintosh copy, way cool!
HOWEVER, music does not sound right here to my ears. On the Macintosh computer, it sounds... different. It is strange as it seems to be module-based music based on small PCM samples.
In Scummvm, for example, the music that plays aboard the Arcada is notoriously wrong: a note in the main instrument keeps playing too long, occupying its channel until a new sample is played on that channel. That does not happen on the Macintosh running the exact same copy of the game.
I remember having experimented with internet-downloaded Macintosh versions in the past, but I dont quite remember if they played music well or not (most probably not, because I kept using the DOS version instead), but this time I can confirm there is something "fishy" with the Macintosh music. Should I open a ticket with this or maybe the Macintosh versions are considered "low interest"?
Thanks!
