Hello, I am using the version 2.2.0 (Daily Build), and one of the changes is:
- Games are sorted in GUI ignoring the articles.
Can it be that like an option?
Because I preffer to have for example "The Dig" next to the other "T's"
Thanks a lot!

Then I would add the option to sort by series instead of title (or release year). I would really like to have the original title of Monkey Island 1,2,3 in order, currently I just put them as Monkey Island in ScummVM, which is the simple solution. But as the amount of titles is, a hidden hardcoded alternative sort is manageable. Don't worry, I don't expect anything.

That's a great suggestion, I would also add sort by game developer to that. Maybe put them in groups for a better overview.

Another idea would be to sort by "engine" (Scumm, SCI, AGI, etc.), always wanted to have it like that
Re: Games are sorted in GUI ignoring the articles
You are welcome to create an improvement ticket with the idea on https://bugs.scummvm.org/. Posts in the forum are likely to be missed by many developers, and forgotten quickly by those who do see it.
Re: Games are sorted in GUI ignoring the articles
Improving the launcher to allow grouping of games by engine or different sorting orders has been discussed in the past... or at least I think I talked about it with Strangerke and a few others at different times. However, no code patch exists for this or any other work was done to my knowledge. Patches / Pull Requests for discussion are welcome!
